All about yellow

 






Advocaat
12 egg yolks
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 cups boiled,cool milk 
vanilla sugar


2 glasses of brandy or rectified spirit (96%) 
Beat egg yolks with the sugar until it is fluff. Boil milk with vanilla sugar and cool. Slowly pour the milk into the yolks mixing continuously. Then gently pour alcohol.










Sour Cream Lemon Cake

1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
5 tablespoons lemon juice
zest of 3 lemons are open
6 tablespoons chilled butter, dissolved and
Frosting
juice of ½ lemon
half cup granulated sugar




Sift flour and baking powder , add to that  lightly beatened eggs and sugar. In a separate bowl combine cream, butter, juice and lemon zest. Combine all ingredients together. Pour into mold and bake at 175 degrees about 40 minutes.

"A Bun with Jam" or "Barefoot in the Grass"

in the the purple hyacinths smell of spring ...





Two jars of jam and bread rolls bought along the way, oh what is good in the outdoors.




Strawberry-rhubarb jam

2 pounds of strawberries
600g rhubarb
200 g of sugar
Cook all ingredients until they thicken. My jam is quite "attenuated," but this is what I like.


Lemon - kiwi jam

It is amazing. We love this jam with scons, rolls, and even with some cheeses. Honestly say that it adheres strictly to the rule. And that's because I have no experience in making jams and, as usual, took it into my intuition.


5 lemons
 with peel thinly sliced

12 kiwi fruit
1 cup of sugar
half cup of water
Cut lemons, add water, and let it stand for several hours or for the full night. Boil with sugar for several minutes and add the diced kiwi. Cook until it thickens. After the addition of kiwi, and a short time of cooking ,  mix everything in a blender, and let it cool.



Sterilize the Jam Jars, in the oven. For 100 Degrees an about 1 hour.

Cupcakes sand, gently lemon ... for the call of spring









I love
 muffins, mixed, pounded, and homemade. Just in time for Easter, and with me feeling refreshed, I started to bake! With Mom's Recipe:


Sand Muffins - lightly lemon



3/4 glass of patato starch flour
1 1/2 glass of plain flour
150 g Butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
Half a glass of sugar (optional)
Lemon essence, lemon peel


Whip egg whites and set aside. Butter should be placed with sugar until light and fluff :), add the yolks and mix. Add flour, baking powder, essences and lemon peel, and finally connect to the dough gently with whites. Put it into molds, I was baking with  silicone ones, so I did not have to lubricate  them before baking.  The oven temperature should be set to 350 degrees.
