New York - I'm not sleeping

Last night I barely slept a wink. Work that is dragged mercilessly took my dream.
The night in the city is different.
You do not feel sleep here.
Only clocks betray the truth, the fleeing minutes.

Breakfast after such  a night has to be nice. It shouldn't be healthy at all. It must be such as I like. Unhurried and sweet. Today - Steffany cake and coffee.

Steffany cake
450 - 500 g tea biscuits
4 cups of milk
20dkg butter
3 tablespoons of cocoa
1/2 cup sugar
9-10 tablespoons of semolina
Dark chocolate + 3 tablespoons whipping cream for topping.

Milk, butter, sugar, boil then added slowly with vigorously stirring porridge  for a minute. When it thickens, add the cocoa. The cream should be set aside to cool. Then translate the still warm cream on  biscuits. Dissolve the chocolate in 3 tablespoons of whipping cream and pour it over the cake. Put the cake in the refrigerator. It is best eaten the next day.

Golden fish

Colors feed me. They tell me about the taste, which I soon begin to feel. I they wake me up.

Finally the world is colorful. Grayness is covered with flowers. I stare out the window and see the colors in the midst of passing streets. I save them for later.

The purchasing of this fish has gone very quickly. They were to be steak. Red meat. And Bloody.

But I did not make it to the meat section, because I spotted this golden trout.

Beautiful - I thought. Can it fulfill my three wishes? I could not resist it.
Although it did  not fulfill all my wishes (as I still do not have a home in  birch grove and a few others), it was well worth it for now. Pale meat - similar to salmon pink, but very delicate, yet distinct in flavor.

Golden Trout in herbs

2 cleaned fish
sprigs of fresh thyme
sprigs of fresh rosemary
2 cloves of garlic
lemon
salt and pepper
Stuff fish with herbs and garlic,  sprinkle the fish to leave on top. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with lemon.Place fish on a greased baking sheet with olive oil. Bake for  about 30 minutes at 180 degrees. I served it with red boiled potatoes and salad with carrot and cucumber.

With the bitterness of red wine, I'm warmed up with memories

Still raining. There is no sky above the earth. Through the window, it looks like a wet street. I feel like its fall in me, even though its May. There are times when I play  the old records, I open my suitcase full of photographs and pages torn from books. I open a bottle of wine and a door to the past.

wrapped in fog
humbly accept the autumn
I think of love
in the alley of your shadow
With bitterness of red wine warmed up with memories

reconciled with the time that has to go

And you called me a meadow ..

. Run barefoot through the grass, and the dew.

Squint your eyes at the sky.

Placing my ear to the ground.

Listen. It's the symphony of grass.

  Hold your breath in awe.
The Intoxicating scent drives me mad.
 The bottom.
  I want to go there.
Come with me.

There is nothing like a day off in the middle of the week. Sunny day. In the town's park  I spread my blanket on the grass and I take my time. I count the clouds and birds.
Today's proposal is a light lunch, for which preparation does not take much time to not interrupt  sweet idleness.

Chicken curry in a sauce of leeks with couscous

Green apple

The season now is more about Strawberries, than anything else. And yes every day I prepare something strawberry . But today what tempted me was the green apple. Sour and juicy. And furiously green. So I thought about apple cake, a little awkward because of adding the vanilla pudding. I remember eating a lot of it in my childhood (especially my aunt's parties). Apple, apple green apple ...

Ingredients

2 cup off flour

1/2 cup sugar

2 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons sour cream
250 g of butter
2 kg of apples
2 vanilla pudding (for 1/2 liter of milk)
5 tablespoons of sugar
750ml milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
icing sugar for sprinkling
sugar to the apples at the discretion
Quickly knead the dough, divide into 2 pieces and store in refrigerator. Peel apples, cut them, throw into the pot and cook to soften slightly. Add the cinnamon and sugar to taste (optional). Cook the pudding with 5 tablespoons of sugar in 750 ml. milk. Half of dough to spend on the plaque, prick with a fork and bake about 10 minutes at 180degrees. Remove from the oven, put on them and custard apples. Then grate on top ofthe rest of the dough. Put in the oven and bake another 40 minutes.  Cooled  cake sprinkle with powdered sugar.
