His Lordship Cheesecake

"Let us return to the old days, to the enchanted world of fairy tales ..." * I return, I move into to an old cinema.
I hear the music softly playing ...

Every Sunday we watched a show in "Old Cinema" ... childhood, family, smells from the kitchen, they all are coming back ... I remember my grandfather, who knew by heart almost all of the songs from the movies ... and we baked cheesecake, cheesecake from past years.

In the photographs:
Ina Benita seems to me that picture from the movie "I am the Ruler" (1939)
Mieczysława Ćwiklińska  (1937)
Eugeniusz Bodo singing "I arranged a date with her at nine," the comedy "The Floor Above" (1937)
Anthony Fertner, especially my beloved actor for all of his comedies.
Elżbieta Barszczewska in "Pan Twardowski" (1936) *
images found on the Internet are not my property

Oh! How Green!

I live in a shady meadow
 under the birch
which is whispering to me at dawn
melancholy...

Scrambled eggs with asparagus

eggs, asparagus, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt and pepper
quantities can be used of your discretion :)
Wash asparagus, cut off the ends and place on a baking sheet. Pour olive oil, season lightly and sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in temp.350 degrees 15 min. Fry scrambled eggs and serve with asparagus.

Cream of asparagus soup

2 bunches of asparagus
2 large onions
2 cups vegetable stock
salt and pepper
glass of white wine
50 ml. heavy cream
4 potatoes
clove of garlic
grated Parmesan cheese for sprinkling

Wash the asparagus, cut off the hardened ends and throw it out. Then cut in pieces and save some upper pieces for later. Pour broth into a pot and when it boils throw to the broth, chop potatoes and asparagus. Garlic and onion stew on a spoon of olive oil in a pan then add to soup.Boil one minute and season with salt and pepper, pour white wine and heavy cream. When the soup has cooled, mix for a puree. Blanch upper pieces of asparagus (thrown into boiling water for a minute then drain off and toss into a bowl of ice water) and serve with soup. My asparagus disappeared mysteriously before I could do a photo..After that I heard - "this is about salad you are talking about?". So exactly a "salad" here takes on an entirely different matter :) Enjoy!

Dangerous plums!

                                                                        ADDICTIVE!!!

                                                             YOU CAN NOT STOP!!!

QUICKLY DISAPPEAR !!!

Cake is even worse ... obscenely good with a tempting . It is too good to stop at one piece. That is why there is nothing to treat guests with and it is completely not suitable for all holidays.

Chilled pudding should be added to a spoonful of crushed butter, keep mixing until it is a cream.
Sponge cake cut into 2 - 3 topsEach soaked with juice of cooked plums seasoned with lemon juice and alcohol . Then smear plum jam, apply layers of cream and an alcohol drained plums. Cover the next top and repeat as long as the ingredients. On the top of the cake pour melted chocolate . Cool it in the refrigerator.
